Automatic Door Supervisor – Hertfordshire

Are you an experienced Gates and Barriers Supervisor looking for a well-paid and progressive opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity for a Gates and Barriers Supervisor to join a welcoming electrical contracting business, based in the Hemel Hempstead. As a Gates and Barriers Supervisor, you will receive a generous basic salary up to £60,000, Company car allowance of £400 per month, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension,  fuel card, Laptop, phone , career progression and many other benefits. 

As a Gates and Barriers Supervisor, your role will include: 

• To oversee our business operations in the south region. 
• Responsible for leading and managing daily operations, to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. 
• Physically establish our presence in the south by adding new customers and adding engineers to the business and create a real Prescence in the South. 
• Overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives.
• Help developing and implement business, marketing, and advertising plans for the south.
• Work closely with south based salespeople.
• Managing internal and external stakeholder relations and negotiating contracts where applicable 
• Planning, evaluating, and optimizing operations to be efficient and cost-effective.
• Ensuring products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards.
• Preparing and presenting monthly reports of operations and finances.
• Dealing with escalated customer issues, and incident reports
• Responsible for monthly toolbox talks are completed.
• Utilise MI and KPI’s to monitor output and profitability. 
• Responsible for RAMs and to ensure that engineers adhere to site/standard H&S Regulations. 
• Responsible for ensuring H&S & Industry Standard training is implemented within the regional workforce.
• Responsible for engineers’ vans being correctly stocked and weekly condition checks completed.

We are keen to speak with Gates and Barriers Supervisors that have the following knowledge/skills and experience: 

• Experience working as Gates and Barriers Supervisor or Doors / Shutter doors / Gates / Barriers manager. 
• Industrial & Automatic Door & Gate Industry Experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The ability to commute to Hemel Hempstead on a daily basis. 
• Full UK Driving licence
